Our Vision

We use our vision tag line to guide our interactions, curriculum organisation and approach.

Nurture

Just like seeds and plants we believe every child needs bespoke conditions to grow and reach for the sky.

We believe that success is not always measured by academic outcomes. Our broad and balanced curriculum is designed to develop subject based knowledge but also to promote independence, life skills, well-being and physical health.

Inspire

We strive to provide an enriched curriculum that engages children in memorable experiences. We ensure learning contexts are authentic, meaningful and provide opportunities for application of skills, investigation and purposeful play.

Prepare

The children of today are the citizens of tomorrow. We have a duty to provide learners with the knowledge, tools and confidence to succeed in life. We intend for our learners to be world aware. We want them to have knowledge and understanding of the social issues we face wider than the locality of Lichfield.

Our values

Our values are at the centre of our school community and everything we do. We developed them with our first cohort of children, Academy Council, staff and parents. They underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils as confident, happy citizens. In addition to our values we cross reference British Values and those of Shaw Education Trust.

Our Character Traits

In order to support children developing the skills, knowledge and characteristic traits that will lead to success in life we identified six key traits. These traits are shared with our children in assemblies and used as a reference point for planning our curriculum and enrichment.
