Why choose us?

We completely understand the importance of choosing the right primary school for your child. Many of us have been through the process ourselves! Hopefully our welcoming website has given you a flavour of what we are all about at Streethay and you are still interested in finding out more. If you haven't already checked out our 'Parent Information' and 'Our School' tabs please do as we have tried to put together as much useful information as possible.

What makes us different?

Aspirational Curriculum

We want our children to grow into responsible young adults ready to contribute to 21st century life. Our curriculum includes opportunities for learners to develop key life skills from an early age; such as computing, modern foreign languages and Physical, Social, Health and Emotional content. We are developing a coherent and sequential curriculum that develops the whole child as well and English and Mathematics skills. We also believe in bringing learning to life using enrichment and project work.

Outstanding Facilities

Our building is unique. We teach inside a purpose built architecturally significant building. All our classrooms have direct access to our green spaces and our learning spaces are bright and airy. We benefit from designated spaces such as; Learning Resource Centre, DT room, Computing room and our Art Studio.

Learning Without Limits

We believe that every child has the right to succeed. We work together under an established culture of inclusion to overcome barriers to learning and set high expectations for all learners. We have a growth mind set and apply this to all of our work.

Small and friendly

The children are at the heart of everything that we do. We are a small, welcoming and sustainably growing school with lots of space to utilise. We have a family feel and this helps to ensure all the children receive the nurture they need to develop emotional resilience.
