This week, Team Rabbits have been introduced to multiplication! Their first lesson was all about making equal groups and understanding that equal means the same! Using concrete manipulatives, we were able to use our reasoning skills and explain why the groups were equal.

Last week was Science Week. We loved linking all of our subjects to science and showing off all our scientific knowledge! In our Science lessons we are studying Biology- Animals including humans. We looked at the similarities and differences of animal features. 

In English we are editing our writing by using red 'teacher' pens, to spot our mistakes and make corrections. We are then polishing our work by writing up the finished product in our neatest handwriting. We are so grown up checking and correcting our work all by ourselves.

In Maths we have been learning all about height and length. We used our new vocabulary- tall, taller, tallest, small, smaller, smallest and long, longer, longest. We then used the cubes to measure objects in our classroom. 

In PSHE we have been learning about how to be healthy and why. We discussed how we feel so much better about ourselves when we make healthy choices and look after our bodies.

We had a fantastic day for World Book Day! We loved dressing up as our favourite characters and sharing our books with our friends and teachers. We had such a lovely morning taking part in the World Book Day activities and we already can't wait for next year!

In PE this week we have been practising our football skills. We have really improved since the autumn term!
